Review of You Belong with Me by Beth Moran.

Happy bank holiday weekend! There’s something so special about having a little extra time to unwind—especially with a good book.

If you’re searching for your next feel-good read, this could be the book for you…

You Belong With Me: A BRAND NEW heartwarming romance from Beth Moran for 2026

About the book:

A woman who stopped believing in romance. An Island worth fighting for. And a love she never saw coming. Three times a fiancée but never a bride is not a claim to fame Bluebell Beddoes is proud of. But she is taking it as a sign…

Sworn off romance, instead, the love of Blue’s life is the beautiful Isle of Siskin. Her home from birth, her community and now her job with the wildly successful podcast Only on Siskin. Her life is full, and her future is set.

So, when the peace on Siskin is threatened with being destroyed forever, Blue knows she has to act. There are secrets from the past that may be able to save the future of the island, and only Blue can get to the bottom of them.

When handsome and mysterious Jonathan White arrives on Siskin, Blue is unsure if he’s here to help or hinder. But when it becomes clear Jonathan holds the key to unlocking the past, Blue will have to learn to trust again or risk losing everything she loves…

My review:

I absolutely loved this novel from beginning to end. You Belong with Me creates a warm, immersive escape on the Isle of Siskin. Bluebell Beddoes is an engaging heroine, and her guarded heart and quiet resilience make her journey especially satisfying to follow.

The past storyline, which is compelling and bittersweet, adds emotional depth and a gentle sense of intrigue, enriching the present-day narrative in a way that kept me turning the pages. The male leads are equally well drawn—both flawed yet quietly strong, with a depth of character that makes them feel authentic and easy to root for.

The sense of community is one of the book’s strongest elements. I enjoyed spending time with the island’s inhabitants. The romance, in both timelines, is soft, slow-burning, and heartfelt, developing naturally as the stories progress.

Overall, this is a compelling and comforting read that beautifully balances love, loss, and hope.

Beth Moran is the author of fourteen novels, including the number one bestseller, Let it Snow. These are mostly set in and around Sherwood Forest, where she can be found most mornings walking her spaniel, Murphy. While her older children have all now flown the nest, she is a foster carer for teenagers and babies, so life is never boring.
